Introduction
The Department of Business Administration which was established in 1993 recruited vocational (high) school graduates and provides two-year junior college education. In 1994, the night department was approved to be established to recruit vocational (high) school graduates for a three-year junior college education providing learning opportunities for in-service personnel. In the 1998 academic year, it was approved to set up an additional junior college for continuous education. In the 2000 academic year, the Department of Business Management (hereinafter referred to as the Department) was established. The Institute of Business Management (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) was established in 2003, and began to recruit the master students in the academic year of 2004, and set up on-the-job special classes in 2007.
Since 2007, the Department had opened special courses for overseas students in Vietnam. In the 2013 academic year, the Department and the Institute were integrated into one, and the Institute was renamed as the master program in business management. The current programs include 4-year college, 2-year college and 2-year junior college continuous education programs and master program in continuous education.
The Department had been awarded first-class three times by the Ministry of Education in the 2003, 2007, and 2012 academic years. In December 2019, the Department obtained the certificate of quality assurance service plan for colleges and universities.
